Leader Development Coaching

Coaching for leader development supports those being ‘groomed’ for promotion, individuals in new positions and/or those looking to develop further their leadership competencies.

The leader development coaching programme is focused on areas tailored to the individual which may include;

Developing team leadership and strategic thinking

Enhancing communication skills for greater influence and impact

Developing greater self-awareness and relationship building

Seeking clarity on business and/or career aspirations and developing plan to achieve aspirations

Increasing personal leadership and effectiveness

The process for the leader development coaching programme will be to:

  • Gather clear brief of coaching request from HR Business Partner and/or Leadership & Development
  • Hold chemistry meeting with coachee to ascertain best fit
  • Recommend and hold Tri-partite meeting with coachee and sponsor/line manager
  • Outline coaching outcomes with key measures of success and agree coaching contract
  • Hold 6 coaching meetings focused on relevant coaching outcomes up to 90 minutes
  • Provide unlimited telephone and email support in between coaching sessions
  • Recommend and hold Tri-partite meeting with coachee and sponsor/line manager as completion meeting focused on sustaining coaching developments
  • Offer diagnostic tools offered for further self-awareness (MBTI, EQi, IDI, 360° Feedback), if not already completed within the organisation
  • Use of relevant models and effective frameworks to support coaching outcomes
  • Provide relevant articles, publications, reading provided on coaching topics
